Popping In

Sorry I've fallen off the map this week. Let's just say between last weekend's traveling, my crazy job and my tendency to overbook myself, something had to give!

I thought I'd pop in today to share some cute Instagram photos from the wedding I attended last weekend. I had the honor of watching one of my oldest friends marry her prince charming in front of a charming arbor with blue and white ribbons blowing in the wind. So cute.

One totally steal-able idea I saw at the reception were her centerpieces. She and her family did the flowers themselves. They tied three mason jars together with a ribbon on top of blue and white chevron runners (rented). The lids of the mason jars were used to hold candles. Smart, right?

Other cute ideas they used that I completely failed to photograph (sorry, my phone died at the reception- ugh!)? First, a custom cake topper from Etsy featuring the bride and groom and their cat made out of clay. It looked just like them! They also hung blue and white lanterns from the ceiling inside in the reception venue, which was a simple and affordable way to spice up the reception space.

That's all I've got for today! Hopefully I can get back on track tomorrow with my regularly scheduled programming. :)
