Holiday Home Tour

Our house is decked out for the holidays, so I decided to join the Christmas 2010 Tour of Homes at www.thenester.com. The variety of decorations out there are amazing, and it's really fun to see how other people decorate their homes for the holidays.

Here we go...

First, the exterior:

More about these projects here, here and here!

On the inside, there is this fun homemade holiday wreath on the door leading to the garage:

And this modern snowflake wall:

Hubby built a mantel just in time for Christmas stockings:

(Yes, he wrapped one of my stocking stuffers with duct tape.)

The tree has tons of presents under it now (and one of the strings of lights is out, but oh well):

We have a cute little set up on the buffet table in the dining room:

(Complete with yummy Christmas treats...)

And then there is the nativity on a floating shelf in the living room:

And more snowflakes by the front door:

Some red and green pillows on the couch:

Lastly, the tiny tree from our apartment Christmases is still alive and kicking:

I'm going to be sad when I have to take all the decorations down– they just add so much warmth and coziness to the house!
